Laboratory Start-Up
During my career as Chemist, I have set up and managed a number of chemical and microbiological laboratories, click each icon below to learn more about each laboratory
This laboratory has been designed to monitor wastewater treatment plant of Bareggio – Milan. The laboratory was set for water, wastewater, sludge and soil testing.
This laboratory has been designed to monitor water and wastewater microbiological quality of all of the wastewater treatment plants within the company.
This laboratory has been designed to test the product quality and monitoring and optimization of the galvanization processes.
R&D Chemicals Development
As a chemist I developed many new Chemical formulations that are now on the catalogue of the company Alchemia srl (Brescia – Italy) which are supplied to their Clients. Many Industries are using everyday chemicals that I have formulated.
Ozone Wastewater Treatment - TAM srl
(Milan – Italy)
I was part of the team who managed the trials related to a Pilot Plant. This was designed for Ozone disinfection of wastewater, and colour treatment of residual colour from textile industries. My responsibility was to conduct the tests and collect the data related to the performance of the pilot plant at difference work conditions. The project produced great results, and now the company has a full-scale Wastewater treatment plant in place with a capacity of 330.000 population equivalent.
Autothermal Thermophilic Aerobic Digestion TAM srl
(Milan – Italy)
Whilst at the same organisation, I worked on a Pilot plant designed to test the Autothermal Thermophilic Aerobic Digestion of municipal Sludge at two of the wastewater plants of the company. I was part of a team where my role was to manage the testing plan: testing performances and present results of the experimentation. This work was also the subject of my degree thesis. This research work was highly valued by the University graduation commission which decided to reward my final test with honours.
Landfill Leachate treatment City of Darwin and Water & Carbon Group
I was part of a team working on a project related to innovative biological treatment of the leachate produced by the landfill of Darwin NT. During this project, I was an integral team member selected to participate in the start-up and management of a new laboratory to support the trials.
